Link Velocity
The speed at which your site earns new backlinks. Natural growth is key.
Link velocity is the rate at which your website acquires new backlinks over a given period. Just like "Review Velocity," Google looks for steady, natural growth. If a dormant care home website suddenly acquires 500 links in a single week, it flags a warning for "link spam."
A healthy link velocity for a local care provider is a slow and steady "drip." Earning one or two high-quality links every few months from reputable local or sector sources is far more effective than a sudden burst. This consistent acquisition signals to Google that your business is continuously active and growing in authority.
