URL Structure
The format of your page addresses. Clean, simple URLs are easier for users and search engines.
URL structure refers to how your individual page addresses are formatted. A "clean" URL is one that is easy for both humans and bots to read (e.g., elderindex.co.uk/glossary/local-seo). An "unclean" URL is full of numbers and strings (e.g., site.com/p=123?id=abc).
For care providers, descriptive URLs are an often-overlooked trust signal. They help users understand where they are on your site and provide a small ranking boost by including keywords in the address itself. A clear structure—like /care-homes/manchester/residential-care/—helps Google understand the hierarchy of your services and location.
